CAD Standards
When you are working on a project with other people, all the drawings are more consistent if everyone uses the same set of standards. CAD Standards tools make it easier to set and enforce standards across drawings. You can associate a with all the project drawings. Layers, dimension styles, text styles, and linetypes in the standards file are then used as standards for the project.
You can now use CAD Standards tools to check for violations as you work. You are immediately alerted whenever you create a non-standard named object; for example, a new layer not defined in the associated . You can fix the violation or you can decide to leave the non-standard object.
